Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I wanted to share a little about me...

I am going into my 7th year of teaching and I am so excited to be joining the Oakhills' family! I grew up in this area and attended Oakhills for kindergarten. I love that I have the opportunity to teach where everything began for me. I then attended Maidu, Excelsior, Olympus Junior High, and Granite Bay High School. I went on to Pennsylvania State University where I was a collegiate athlete. I competed for the Women's Gymnastics team on a full ride scholarship.

I’ve been married to my husband for 1 year now. We met just a few years ago through mutual friends and it was meant to be! We do not have any children yet, but we do have cats! My passion for Penn State continues to thrive and so we named our first cat JoePaw, after the Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. We recently adopted a second cat and his name is Lucia, after where we honeymooned!

My hobbies include watch Penn State football, traveling, hiking, reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends...oh, and sleeping. I'm also currently working on finishing my Master's program, so I'm one busy gal.
